Talk: Nidderdale history on Stage Thursday 12th October 2017 7.30pm to 9.00pm

Come and hear the full entertaining story of how local writer Nevin Ward wrote the words and music for The Dam Play – the Story of Nidderdale’s Reservoirs and the People Who Built Them, and Gouthwaite Hall, a darker play about a colourful incident in early 17th century Nidderdale.

Both plays received high acclaim on their sold-out runs at the Pateley Bridge Playhouse.

"Congratulations on bringing a rich but seldom explored part of the area’s history to life, and for portraying it so well - I was highly impressed by the whole performance. “
Sir Thomas Ingilby, descendant of Sir William Ingilby

“We did enjoy the play - the acting was of a very high standard”
David Yorke, descendant of Sir John Yorke

Both their named ancestors were presented as characters in Gouthwaite Hall.

With home made light refreshments, the cost is £7.50 (members £6.00)
