The Washburn Heritage Centre wishes to commission the services of an individual or trading entity to provide Administration and Support Services. Could this part-time role be an opportunity for you or someone you know to work in our award winning and popular Centre?
The purpose-built Washburn Heritage Centre was opened in February 2011 and has proved to be a popular, vibrant and friendly venue for visitors to the Washburn Valley and for local people. It is managed by a subcommittee of the Fewston with Blubberhouses Parochial Church Council. The PCC seeks to engage the services - in a self employed capacity - of an individual or trading entity to provide administration and support services.
The role is primarily administrative, but will also support and facilitate the work of the many volunteers who run and manage the Centre. A successful candidate would have very good computer and administration skills, be comfortable with book keeping and banking but would also be someone who really likes working with volunteers.
The commission begins on February 1st 2018 and is for 12 days equivalent work per month (annual fee £15,120).
