Isabelle Chousmer-Kerr                      Soprano

Isabelle Chousmer-Kerr is a Soprano and vocal coach. Having recently graduated with a first class degree from Leeds College of Music, Isabelle has a varied range of experience in classical, choral, opera, and musical theatre and currently studies under the tutelage of Margaret MacDonald, internationally renowned Mezzo Soprano and vocal coach.

Isabelle has considerable and varied performing experience in both solo and ensemble settings. She regularly performs in venues such as Leeds Minster, Leeds Town Hall, Sheffield Cathedral, Holy Trinity Leeds and Doncaster Minster. Notable masterclasses include Deborah York, Maximillian Van London, Chris Purves, Angela Livingstone, and Donald Maxwell. Operatic roles include, Fabulina -  The Pirates by Stephen Storace, Second Woman - Dido and Aneas, and Yum Yum  - The Mikado. Currently Isabelle sings frequently with the St Peter’s singers of Leeds Minster, under the direction of Dr Simon Lindley. In addition to this Isabelle regularly gives solo recitals, and leads both individual and group music tuition in Leeds and the surrounding areas.

Ruby Foster                                        Mezzo-Soprano

Ruby Foster is a Mezzo-Soprano from Bristol. Her repertoire is comprised of operatic arias, German Lieder, and includes works by composers such as Barber, Fauré, Mahler and Mozart. As well as her solo work, Ruby sings with The St Peters Singers, performing a wide variety of choral work throughout the UK and Europe. In 2015, Ruby graduated with a first class honours in Classical music from Leeds College of music.

Joe Yates                                            Tenor

Joe Yates is a young singer living and working in Leeds who recently graduated from Leeds College of Music with a degree in classical voice performance. Joe has performed various operatic roles including Macheath in Britten’s adaptation of The Beggar’s Opera and Don Ottavio in Mozart’s Don Giovanni. Joe's current engagements include performing as Orpheus in Offenbach's Orphée Aux Enfers and as a soloist with the Yorkshire Symphony Orchestra.

Adam Gouldin                                    Baritone

Adam Gouldin is a British baritone based in Leeds. He is currently completing a postgraduate certificate of education (PGCE) with specialist instrumental teaching at the Royal Northern College of Music. Adam has studied with Andrew Kennedy, Gavan Ring and currently is under the tutelage of Tim Ochala-Greenough. Masterclasses have included such renowned artists as Roderick Williams, Rory Kinnear, and Deborah York. Adam has performed with various chorus' and orchestras, including an appearance as an official soloist to Howard Goodall in Leeds Town Hall. He has sung bass in oratorios such as Mozart’s Requiem, Rossini's Stabat Mater, and Fauré Requiem.

Adam was named as a 'Young Emerging Artist' by Leeds Lieder and was given the opportunity to take part in their acclaimed festival. He has given recitals for Leeds International Concert Season and Arts@Trinity, for whom he premiered new compositions, after being awarded first place in their annual competition. Operatic roles and scenes for Leeds College of Music, include Demetrius ‘A Midsummer Night's Dream’ (Britten), Witch ‘Dido and Aneas’ (Purcell), and The Cold Genuis 'King Arthur’ (Purcell). Adam has also embarked on a European tour with the Belgian company Muziektheater Transparant where he sang the lead in an opera that was curated from the music of Monteverdi. Adam has performed in such prestigious venues as De Singal (Antwerp, Belgium) and Théâtre de l'Athénée (Paris, France).

Ben Cockburn                                   Pianist

Ben Cockburn is a pianist, accompanist and teacher.  He graduated in Classical Music from Leeds College of Music in 2016. Ben is also member of clarinet and piano duo, Reed & Ivory and has been a member of Leeds College of Music’s Camerata Orchestra, New Music Collective, Part-song Choir, Symphonic Wind Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra.

While at Leeds College of Music, Ben studied under the direction of internationally renowned pianist, Jakob Fichert. He has played at Leeds City Art Gallery, Holy Trinity Church, Wakefield Cathedral, Christ Church, Harrogate and White Cloth Gallery. Ben achieved the Bronze Award at the East Coast Musician of the year, 2014, after which he was invited back as the principal piano student in a masterclass with Richard Utley. Ben has taken part in masterclasses hosted by renowned baritone Roderick Williams and international Pianist Wolfgang Manz and has performed with the Leeds College of Music symphonic wind orchestra and accompanied viral flute sensation Azeem Ward. Reed & Ivory won 2nd prize in the Leeds College of Music’s track of the year award in 2015 and have premiered pieces by British and U.S composers, most notably at an event spotlighting female composers. Ben has also performed internationally, on tour with a Camerata Orchestra in Germany.
